Nestled in the beautiful Eden valley, Cumbria between the Pennines the Yorkshire dales and the lakes is a wonderful quiet area filled with pretty chocolate box villages and friendly people, a little hidden gem. We moved here in 2014 from Warrington and settled in a lovely old cottage complete with large garden, a renovation project which my husband and I have lovingly restored over the years. I’m a freelance florists with 20 years plus in the field, who in the past has worked in large florists shops in Warrington, I have also managed flower shops and entered various National floral competitions in all aspects of floristry. As keen outdoors people when we aren’t working you will find us wandering the fells, camping, climbing, canoeing generally anything to do with the outdoors.

I’m a freelance florist and work within Cumbria and the surrounding areas , I have 20 years plus experience in the field, specialising in eco friendly and sustainable techniques using local businesses and British flowers where ever possible.

I also offer wedding, events and other floral related consultations so if you would like flowers for your wedding just drop me a line I may be able to help. I can offer a selection of eco friendly and sustainable funeral designs using bio degradable techniques and seasonal flowers and foliage so when the time comes to say farewell to a loved one or good friend we can with a sensitive approach.I have recently joined Flowers From The Farm, a nonprofit organisation dedicated to helping and promoting the use of local British florals within their business and community and also recently have started a small cutting garden within my 1/4 acre cottage plot so that I can use them within my work. I also buy and support other local flower growers within the area who are also members of Flowers From The Farm.

I offer a range of floral items from gift arrangements and handmade hand tied bouquets all using locally grown British flowers and foliage and using sustainable techniques and NO OASIS NO CELLOPHANE NO SINGLE USE PLASTIC I also offer a range of workshops using sustainable techniques and seasonal flowers and foliage, together with a selection of sustainable funeral arrangements so when it comes time to say goodbye you can do so with a sensitive approach.
